Advanced College follows the national curriculum, as prescribed by the Department of Education, supplemented by a variety of resources to maximize learning across all subject areas. While we cannot get away from the Department’s prescribed content, we recognise that the world and society is changing and subsequently so too the educational landscape.

We strive to cultivate an intellectual curiosity, respect for a diversity of views and most importantly critical thinking through connected reasoning.

We achieve this through:

• small classes – a maximum of 7 students per class
• a blended curriculum
• one-to-one interactions with our students
• dedicating more time to subjects such as mathematics and English language
• subject-matter experts, all of whom are SACE registered
